Castiglion Fiorentino ricorda l'11 settembre

Cerimonia in ricordo dell’11 settembre 2001 e di tutte le vittime della violenza e del terrorismo

Anche quest’anno Castiglion Fiorentino ricorda le vittime dell’attentato terroristico dell’11 settembre 2001 alle Torri Gemelle di New York.

Mercoledì 11 settembre 2024, presso il Monumento di via Trento, dedicato alla vittime dell’attentato, verrà celebrata una cerimonia commemorativa alla presenza delle autorità locali e di tutti i cittadini che vorranno partecipare.

L’appuntamento è per le ore 18.30 presso il Monumento. L’opera, progettata dagli studenti della Texas A&M University a perenne memoria dell’immane tragedia, rappresenta l’unione e l’amicizia nate tra gli Stati Uniti e Castiglion Fiorentino.

Alla cerimonia è invitata a partecipare tutta la cittadinanza e tutti i cittadini americani residenti nel Comune di Castiglion Fiorentino.

Annual Remembrance Ceremony commemorating September 11, 2001, and all victims of violence and terrorism

Castiglion Fiorentino will once again commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, which resulted in the destruction of the Twin Towers in New York.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, a commemorative ceremony will be held at the monument to the victims of the attack, located on via Trento. Local authorities will attend, and all citizens wishing to participate are welcome.

The gathering will occur at 18.39 p.m. at the monument. The piece, designed by students from Texas A&M University, serves as a lasting symbol of remembrance for the immense tragedy, representing the bond and friendship that have developed between the United States and Castiglion Fiorentino.

All citizens and American residents in Castiglion Fiorentino are cordially invited to attend the ceremony.
